Complete Decongestive Therapy

Complete decongestive therapy(CDT) is the gold standard therapy for the management of lymphedema. CDT consist of skin and nail care, manual, lymph, drainage, multi layering of compression, bandages and education on remedial exercises. It is broken down into two phases the intensive phase which focuses on decongesting the lamb, and the maintenance phase focuses on maintaining the results of the first phase.
