Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)

MLD involves light skin stretching techniques that facilitate the movement of lymphatic fluid out of swollen areas or limbs. Specific directions and light, rhythmic hand movements are used to promote variations in interstitial pressure without the use of oils. Unlike traditional massage, MLD focuses on the lymph system to help eliminate toxins and improve lymph fluid flow. This technique is beneficial for individuals with lymphedema.
